What is
Retreat Factory?
20 years ago, the old, 150-year-old distillery came into the possession of the family. With a lot of work, we have transformed our accommodations to be comfortable for everyone. A total of 23 beds are available for guests across three buildings. We note that the atmosphere of the factory is still retained. We mostly used recycled materials and a lot of creativity. The old stable has now become a truly impressive venue for a wedding or a yoga camp.
Venue
We recommend the factory for weddings, team-building events, retreats and private gatherings. You won't be disappointed.
Accommodation
We offer 23 beds, double, triple, and quadruple rooms, as well as a camping site.
Huge space
Plenty of green areas, huge open spaces where your guests can enjoy themselves.
Creative place for creative people
Camps
You have the opportunity to organize camps for up to 40 people with us. In the 200-square-meter covered area, you can even hold events requiring a lot of space. The teachers can rest in a separate house with their own kitchen and living room.
Gatherings
If you want to relax with friends and family, the factory is the perfect place. In the evening, you can watch the stars by the campfire, cook in a cauldron, or even have a small party. In fact, you can have an even bigger one. Our event space can accommodate up to 130 people. How many friends do you have?
Weddings
We recommend it for truly adventurous couples who want a wedding that genuinely represents them. Everything is DIY; you can bring your grandma's cookies and your uncle's drinks. We just provide the space; the rest is up to you.
Team buildings for companies
Indeed, not everyone wants to play games during team-building activities, but if your company loves it, then they'll love us too.

Accommodations
In the little castle, there are a total of three double rooms, a kitchen, bathroom, and a living room. The castle is located 50 meters away from the main building.
The factory
In the factory building, there are a total of four rooms available for guests: one three-bed room and three rooms with four beds each. Additionally, there are eight showers and six toilets.
The privy
The privy was converted from an old outhouse, about 30 meters away from the main building, right next to the lake.
Unfortunately, it cannot be booked during winter.
XL room
We have also created an eight-bed room in one of the old warehouses of the factory, which has become a very unique space at Retreat Factory.
Activities in the area
In the area, it's worth visiting the canyons, lookout points, and beautiful forests. The most exciting way to do this is by using a renovated off-road vehicle.
There are several lakes in the area such as Fadd Dombori and Szálka, where SUP Szekszárd delivers and sets up paddleboards for you. Watching the sunset is a must.
Although not at the factory building itself, nearby there's also a very cozy place for laser tag and paintball. To make the whole team-building experience complete :)
You can explore the Gemenc Forest in several ways: by kayak, small train, or hiking on foot. As an untouched area, it's unique in the country.
In Szekszárd, we can recommend Rigli Escape Room if the team is still in the mood for games.
